Christ School of Engineering and Technology Bangalore Admission

Admission to B.Tech and M.Tech, is based on entrance test, conducted by the university followed by a Micro Presentation (MI) and Personal Interview (PI). 

Candidates applying for the PhD programme must appear for the PhD entrance examination. This is followed by a Research Skill Assessment Test and an interview round.

However, candidates who qualified for GATE/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ UGC- NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ a teacher fellowship holder or have an M.Phil degree are exempted from the entrance examination. Such candidates shall only have to appear for the Research Skill Assessment Test and PI.

How to apply?

Prospective candidates can apply through both online and offline mode. Follow the steps below to apply:

Online 

  • To apply, visit the official website of Christ University and click on the ‘Admission’ tab
  • Next, candidates must register themselves
  • Now fill the form with personal details and educational qualifications
  • After completing the form, pay the application fees via Credit / Debit Card / Net banking facility
  • Then submit the application form
  • Download and take out a print of the application form and receipt of payment.

Offline 

  • Candidates can obtain the application form from the admission office of the University
  • Fill the application form correctly with all the relevant details
  • Candidates must then log on to http://offlineapp.christuniversity.in/ 
  • Next, create a login ID and click on ‘Proceed with Application’
  • Now enter the offline application number and receipt number
  • Then proceed to type in all the details filled out in the hard copy of the application form
  • Finally, submit the form

Christ University, Faculty of Engineering, Bangalore provides financial assistance and scholarships to meritorious students and also to needy and deserving students from economically weaker sections. The scholarships offered are listed below:

  • Merit Scholarship: Awarded to students based on their academic performance before entering the university and their subsequent performance in several tests and examinations. This scholarship will consist of a percentage refund of fees.
  • Scholarship for Financial Assistance: Eligible students must be from economically weaker sections, especially from a rural area. Such students will receive a percentage of fee concession.
