The online application process for GATE 2024 was commenced by the conducting authority on 30 August 2023 at its official portal @gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Candidates who meet the essential qualification prescribed under the notification submitted their online application form by 20 October 2023. Candidates are instructed to follow the steps listed in the below section to fill GATE 2024 application form successfully:
Step 1: Visit the official website of GATE 2024 at https://gate2024.iisc.ac.in/.
Step 2: Complete the online registration with name, valid email id, country of residence, Mobile Number, and password.
Step 3: The Registration ID will be generated, create a password and save it for future use.
Step 4: Log in with your Registration ID and password to complete the registration process.
Step 5: Upload the scanned copies of photograph, signature, and all other necessary documents.
Step 6: After uploading the essential documents, click on the “Save and Submit.” button.
Step 7: Pay the application fees via online payment gateway using debit/credit card, internet banking, UPI, etc.

There is no specific age limit to apply for the GATE 2024 exam. Candidates having any age group attaining the required qualification may appear for the exam. The GATE Exam has no restriction for age limit and attempts.
