What is PESSAT?

PESSAT is an acronym that stands for People's Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test. PES University administers it for admission to B. Tech and other programs offered by the institute. Candidates are chosen based on their performance in the personal interview round as well as their test score. 

PESSAT Exam 2024

• Registration for the PESSAT 2024 began on 20th October 2023. Interested candidates should apply online using the link provided below. The PESSAT 2024 exam date has not yet been announced. PES University is expected to hold the PESSAT 2024 exam last week in June. 
• PESSAT 2024 will be administered as a computer-based test online at the PES University campus and in 44 cities across the country. The PESSAT 2024 entrance exam will be used to select candidates for PES University BTech admission. Admission to BTech programs will be granted only to those who pass the PESSAT 2024 exam. The PESSAT exam date in 2024, the deadline for applications, the availability of slots, the results, and the schedule for counseling are all listed below in an approximate order.

PESSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

PESSAT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

According to the PESSAT eligibility requirements for 2024, applicants for admission to the B.Tech program must meet the following requirements:

• The candidate must have completed Class 12 or the equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% in Physics, Math, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, and Biotechnology.
• Test results from the KCET (State level exam), JEE Mains, or PESSAT (National level exam) are required.

PESSAT B.Des Eligibility Criteria

Candidates taking the PESSAT 2024 must meet the following eligibility requirements to be admitted to the B.Des course:

• The candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% in the qualifying examination.

PESSAT B.B.A Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have read the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for PESSAT 2024 to pursue a BBA course:

• Candidates must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• There are no prerequisites for a specific stream in Class 12 to be considered eligible for the BBA course via PESSAT 2024.

PESSAT B.B.A L.L.B Eligibility Criteria

Candidates taking PESSAT 2024 to pursue BBA LLB must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• The candidate must have completed Class 12 or any other equivalent exam.
• According to the PESSAT eligibility criteria 2024, general category candidates must have a minimum of 45% of total marks in Class 12 or an equivalent examination.
• SC/ST candidates must have a minimum aggregate score of 40%. Candidates should be aware that if the minimum required score is 44.5% or higher, it will be treated as 45%, while a score of 39.5% or higher will be treated as 40%.

PESSAT MBA Eligibility Criteria

To meet the PESSAT eligibility criteria 2024 for the MBA course, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Candidates for MBA admission must have a graduate degree with at least a 60% aggregate score.
• According to the PESSAT 2024 eligibility criteria, aspirants must ensure that their graduate degree was not obtained through distance or correspondence education.
• Candidates taking the CAT or CMAT must have a minimum score of 50%.
• There is no upper age limit for taking the PESSAT 2024.

PESSAT M.C.A. Eligibility Criteria

• A candidate must have a Bachelor's degree to be eligible for PESSAT 2024 to pursue MCA. To meet the PESSAT eligibility criteria 2024, the degree must be obtained from a recognized university.

 PESSAT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates applying for the M.Tech course should carefully review the PESSAT M.Tech eligibility criteria. The candidature of any candidate found ineligible at any stage of the admission process will be cancelled.
• He/she must have a minimum of 60% in an Engineering degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
• PESSAT, PGCET, and GATE test scores are accepted.

ESSAT 2024 Admission Process

The entrance exam will be used to determine admission to PES University. Candidates must first complete the PESSAT 2024 application form before taking the exam. The detailed step-by-step PESSAT admission procedure is available below. 

STEP 1: The Application Procedure

Candidates can apply for PESSAT by completing an online form. To apply online, the candidate must first sign up as a new user. Candidates will receive their login IDs after successfully registering. 

STEP 2: Book a slot

After submitting the form, candidates will be asked to reserve a time for the exam. The admit card will be issued once they have booked their slot. Candidates must obtain a copy of their admit card.

STEP 3: PESSAT 2024 Exam

PESSAT 2024 will be held at the Bangalore campus for all courses except B Tech. The BTech exam will be administered at over 44 test centers throughout the country.

STEP 4: Counselling/Interview

Candidates who pass the PESSAT 2024 will be invited for counseling and interviews based on their results.  There will be a merit list made public that includes rankings and deadlines. 

PESSAT Application Form 2024

The PESSAT 2024 application form will be available very soon. The application deadline will also be announced some time later. Interested candidates must complete the application form and appear in the exam by the deadlines. Candidates must also upload a scanned image of a passport-size color photo when applying for PESSAT 2024. The procedure for filling out the PESSAT 20243 application form is outlined below. 

How to Fill Out the PESSAT Form

• Go to the PES University website.
• Select the "New Candidate Registration" option.
• Fill in the required information and click the submit button to finish the registration process.
• Fill out the detailed application form after registering.
• Upload a scanned image of a passport-sized color photograph.
• Pay the application fee. 

Following the successful submission of application fees, application forms will be automatically submitted. Candidates should download and print their completed application form to keep it safe until the admissions process is completed.

PESSAT Slot Booking and Admit Card 2024

PES University will begin accepting slot reservations in the first week of June. Each candidate who registers for the PESSAT 2024 must reserve a time to take the exam. A candidate will be permitted to take the exam only after booking a slot. Candidates who successfully book a slot will be issued a PESSAT admit card 2024. The following is a step-by-step procedure for booking PESSAT slots:

Steps to Book a Slot for PESSAT 2024 Exam 

• Go to the PES University website.
• Select the "Registered Candidate Login" option.
• Log in with your application number and password.
• Select the PESSAT 2024 Slot Booking option.
• Choose your city, exam date, and time from the drop-down menus.
• Select the "Confirm" option.
• Download the slot booking confirmation page.

Candidates will be issued a PESSAT admit card once their slot has been reserved. Candidates must download and print their admit card in order to bring it to the exam center on the day of the exam.

How to Download PESSAT Admit Card 2024

• Navigate to the PES University website.
• Select the "Registered Candidate Login" option.
• Log in with your application number and password.
• Select the PESSAT admit card link.
• Download and print the document

The admit card will include information about the PESSAT exam date and time, the address of the exam center, the candidates' basic information such as roll number, name, photo, signature, parents' information, and exam day instructions. It is mandatory to bring the admit card to the exam center on the exam day because NO candidate will be allowed to take the exam unless they have the PESSAT 2023 admit card.

PESSAT 2024 Result

The PESSAT 2024 result will be available online at pessat.com, the official website of PES University. Candidates must log in using their registration/application number and date of birth to view the results. To download the PESSAT result, follow the steps outlined below. 

How to Download PESSAT Result 2024?

• Go to the official website.
• Select the result link.
• Enter your registration/application number and birth date.
• Click the 'Submit' button.
• The PESSAT 2024 score will be shown on the screen.
• Print the result after downloading it.

PESSAT 2024 Counselling

• The PESSAT will be administered in two rounds by PES University. The date for PESSAT 2024 counselling will be announced following the announcement of results. The first round of counseling will take place in July, following the announcement of results, and the second round will take place in August. The entire PESSAT counselling process will be conducted online, with all qualified candidates required to register online. 
• Candidates must enter their specialization and campus preferences during the registration process for counselling. Seats will be assigned based on their performance in the PESSAT 2024 exam. Following seat allotment, candidates must pay the seat confirmation fees online to confirm their admission. The date for reporting to the institute will be communicated to the candidates following the institute's confirmation of admission.
