Pharmacy is an important part of the healthcare that deals with preparing and dispensing drugs and pharmacists are experts in medicine. Every medicine we use today, regardless of where it came from or who made it, has the imprint of a pharmacist in it. Years of research and millions of rupees have been invested to create a medicine that can help us heal. No wonder then that pharmacy is called a “Life-Changing Career.”
Pharmacy is as old as medicine itself. While earlier humans used plants and herbs to heal themselves, chemicals became the backbone of the pharmaceutical industry in the later years. Today the multibillion dollar pharma industry is one of the largest in the world employing millions as researchers, scientists, marketers, and more.
Pharmacy is a diverse career with opportunities in innovation and research. They are between doctors and patients and after doctors, they deal directly with patients.
