Manipal Academy of Higher Education is located on a plateau in Karnataka’s Udupi district. MAHE: Admission Process

Admissions are offered in various UG, PG, and Research Programs by MAHE, Manipal. The admission process to apply for the various courses offered by the institution are given below.

Select the ‘Programs’ section where you will see the list of various programs offered by the university. At the end of the page click “Apply now”.
The candidate will have to register now with a valid email id and phone number. Now, enter the login details, to begin with the application process.
Fill in the information in the form correctly and upload all the documents which have been asked for in the application form.
Submit the form along with the application fee which will be submitted through online mode.

Selection Procedure

The selection to most of the courses is done by the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) which is taken by the university. It is done on the basis of scores obtained in MET.

Admissions to MBBS and BDS program is done on the basis of scores obtained in NEET-UG
Admissions to B.Tech program are done on the basis of MET.
Admission to B.Arch is done on the basis of marks obtained in NATA.
Admission to B.Des program is based on the performance of the candidate in MDAT.

For admission to the C (MAHE), the application is done online. Eligible candidates must note that the OTBS is a first-come-first service.

Candidates are shortlisted for Medical Programs (MBBS, BDS, MS, DM, MCh) based on their NEET scores (NEET UG, NEET PG, NEET SS).
The eligibility of the candidates for all the MTech subjects is a valid score in GATE.
The eligibility of the candidates is for all the BArch is a valid score in NATA.
The selection for the Medical Programs is done by the national test agencies. For instance, MBBS selection is based on qualifying in NEET-UG 2022. The process includes online registration & choice filling by candidates on MCC / KEA / JCECE portal. Further, the online counselling & seat allotment is controlled by MCC / KEA / JCECEB.
MAHE also conducts Department Test (DT), Group Discussion (GD), Panel Interview (PI1), and Personal Interview (PI2) for certain programs.

To successfully apply for admission to the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) for any UG programs, the following steps are to be kept in mind.

The candidates need to register themselves online through the official website of MAHE.
To register, the candidate must enter the necessary details, like name, email and create a password.
Once registered, the candidate must fill the admission form carefully.
